10 November 2015, a joint field investigation and research on TME’s construction work of a western natural gas trading center was conducted by a research group headed by Liu Junjian, Yang Li, respectively chief and deputy chief of the Resource & Price Department from Sichuan Development and Reform Commission (SDRC), and responsible personnel from Southwest Oil & Gas Field Research Institute of PetroChina, Sichuan Natural Gas investment Co Ltd, Sichuan Natural Gas Pipeline Company, and Sichuan Fuhang Capital & Equity Investment Fund Management Co Ltd as well.
Chairman Liu Angsheng briefed the group on TME taking the lead in promoting the establishment of a western natural gas trading center. And on behalf of SDRC, Liu Junjian expected that TME coordinate with all parties concerned to integrate resources of natural gas industry, with a shared aim at erecting the oil and gas trading platform in western China.
